SoLiXG project members Fabienne Décieux and Anna Pillinger together with the research committee Feminist Theory and Gender Research of the Austrian Sociological Association (ÖGS) will convene the session "Technical Solutions for Societal Problems? Feminist Perspectives on Technologies" at the ÖGS congress 2025, June 30 - July 2 in Graz, Austria.

The session brings together findings from the SoLiXG project related to the "twin digital and green transition" with feminist research on technology. It seeks to analyse and understand the seemingly prevalent role of technosolutionism.
